Psalms 133:1

The Psalmist David exclaimed, “behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity” his words reflect the climate of Heritage Pentecostal Church, here in Emporia ,Kansas.

 

The church focus is Jesus Christ, the grand subject, and the Word of God, the ABSOLUTE. In today’s society, we need a spiritual awakening more than ever before; Today’s family reflects the great need we have for fathers and mothers to join together with their hearts to provide the spiritual needs of our families, our children, and our communities. HPC’s mission is to create a godly atmosphere and to be the catalyst for which we can provide for the spiritual and natural void that exists in our homes, community, and society today.

 

HPC firmly stands for the sanctity of the home, furthermore, we believe that marriage is more than a contract on paper and that marriage is between one man and one woman and children are the in heritage of the Lord. HPC mission and duty as Christians are to preserve the truth of the Word of God; Our endeavor is to provide a safe place for our children and families to grow spiritually, and to be more productive as Christian in our community, and to provide hope for a brighter tomorrow.

 

Our Purpose as a Ministries:

God has place us here to minister to the needs of people. The greatest need in today’s climate and society is to proclaim with a clear note and a certain sound, the gospel of Jesus Christ. To preach redemption is available to every individual through repentance from sin, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost, as was practiced by the early church in Acts 2:38. To that end, we preach salvation through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ

 

We preach the Word of God that believers might see and understand the truth. HPC promotes godly worship and fellowship. We practice Christ-like character in our daily lives and Christian love for one another.
